This is a beautiful, original, stock, early production Porsche 986; Boxster, in quintessential Guards Red/black. Runs great, with 125K well loved miles. IMS update documented and done. Highlights: *IMS bearing upgrade done (L&N unit). If you don’t know what this is, look it up before buying a 986/996 car! *Beautiful newer paint (not from accident or damage, just from some southern sun fading) *Seats recently reupholstered (same as above) *Newer tires *New shift linkage *High performance clutch *Runs and drives great *Crystal clear rear window *Automatic top works great *Ice cold A/C*Clean/clear IN title in hand, and ready to be transferred to the next owner Areas for improvement: *There is a slight shimmy in the steering wheel over bumps (sway bar links?). Never really noticed this in the south, only when we got it to the beautiful roads of northern Indiana for the summer. Also, a slight vibration in the steering wheel at high speeds. Feels like tire balance. Subtle, and only noticeable over 60 mph or so. *HVAC readout is about shot. A/C works great.*Occasional ( common in these cars) starter whine for 2 secs on cold start.
